Livestock Regulations

 

Indiana livestock farms are regulated by various county, state and federal agencies. In Indiana, these include the Indiana State Board of Animal Healthand the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.


The Food and Drug Administration provides federal regulation information.


Key Regulations


Fertilizer Use Rule went into effect on February 16, 2013. A quick reference guide, which explains key requirements has been distributed.


CFO and CAFO rules became effective on July 1, 2012. A guidance manual, which explains key program requirements of the following law and rules has been distributed.
